Work on the much-anticipated lighting upgrade at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium is set to begin in mid-June.
Minister of state with special responsibility for Sports Oscar George made the announcement, confirming that the first set of containers for the project is expected to arrive by mid-month, with foundation works starting before the end of June.
The 13.8-million-dollar project will be executed by a Canadian company specializing in sports lighting, and is being funded by the National Lottery Commission.
Minister George says the upgrade will include high-quality lighting to meet ICC standards, along with a modern control room, backup generators, and support facilities.
