Hurtault urged Dominicans not to allow cynicism or despair to erode what makes the nation unique, and called for a renewed commitment to compassion, humility, and togetherness. He said Dominica still has the potential to be a global example of a humane and balanced society. The DFP extended Christmas and New Year’s greetings to the nation, encouraging citizens to preserve and celebrate their shared Dominican identity.
