President of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Her Excellency Sylvanie Burton, has criticized the United States for what she describes as escalating military and political pressure on Venezuela, urging instead a return to dialogue and respect for national sovereignty. Speaking in an interview aired by China Media Group, President Burton appealed to Washington to abandon what she termed aggressive and bullying tactics toward Venezuela and the wider Latin America and Caribbean region. She emphasized that peaceful negotiations, not confrontation, are the path forward.
