Police Week Postponed to November

The Dominica Police Force has announced a change in the dates for Police Week 2025. Originally scheduled for this month, the celebrations have been moved to November 15th to 23rd, following Independence activities. Acting Police Chief Lincoln Corbett explained that the postponement was due to logistical challenges, including ongoing training and efforts to register illegal firearms. Despite the shift, Police Week will be held under the same theme as previously announced and will feature the traditional police review and other public events. Police Week 2025 is set to be held under the theme, “Serving with Pride, Protecting with Purpose.”
