Local Redemptorist Priest reverend Father Franklin Cuffy says while he is happy for the level of discussions at that went on at the two day Cannabis symposium hosted in Dominica last week, the discussions should be taken even one step further.
Father Cuffy, who has given over 40 years of his life to the priesthood says he has many friends in the Rastafarian movement, and has worked for many years with patients and staff at the Acute Psychiatric Unit of the hospital but he still believes there is a need for a rehab center in Dominica.
For several years now, Cuffy has been advocating for a rehab center to deal with the many mentally deranged people seen roaming the streets as well as others who have lost their minds through substance abuse.
