Fort Young Hotel & Dive Resort is celebrating major global recognition after earning five honours in Scuba Diving Magazine’s 2026 Reader’s Choice Awards. The Roseau waterfront resort was voted Best Overall and also topped the categories for Quality of Resort, Quality of Staff, Quality of Rooms, and Value. In a release, General Manager Ronson Dalyrample says the awards are especially meaningful because they come directly from divers around the world. He credits the resort’s dedicated dive team, authentic Dominican hospitality, and unmatched access to Dominica’s world-class underwater sites.
Fort Young also unveiled a new 36-foot dive vessel, Glorieux, which expands its fleet and supports group dives, private charters, and swim-with-the-whales excursions. To mark the achievement, the resort is promoting a DEMA Dive Getaway Special, offering discounted stays, diving packages, credits, and excursions for travel through April 2027. Fort Young Hotel remains one of Dominica’s anchor tourism properties, connecting visitors to both the capital and the island’s renowned marine environment.
