Expanded Airlift Boosts Travel to Dominica for Winter Season

The Ministry of Tourism and the Discover Dominica Authority have announced a major expansion in air access for the 2025–2026 winter season, strengthening international and regional travel to the island. United Airlines has increased service with nonstop flights from Newark and daily one-stop options, while American Airlines will introduce twice-daily nonstop flights from Miami beginning December 18. LIAT has also launched a new nonstop route from Punta Cana. Additional connectivity will come through British Airways and Virgin Atlantic via one-stop services from the UK and Europe, along with expanded regional links through Contour Airlines, Caribbean Airlines, Sunrise Airways, InterCaribbean Airways and WINAIR. Tourism Minister Denise Charles-Pemberton says the enhanced airlift supports tourism growth, improves access for visitors and nationals, and will help drive economic activity across Dominica’s tourism sector.
