Dr. Thompson Fontaine has been re-elected as leader of the United Workers Party following the party’s Delegates Conference on Sunday, December 14, 2025. Dr. Fontaine secured 83 votes, defeating newcomer Pastor Randy Rodney, who received 75 votes and declined nomination for Deputy Leader. Other key positions filled at the conference include Ronald Charles as Deputy Political Leader, Claudius Sanford as President, Birney Ryan as Vice President, Nicolas George as General Secretary, and Walter Greenaway as Assistant General Secretary. Ken Joseph was elected Treasurer with Erasmus Laurent as Assistant Treasurer. Glenroy Cuffy takes on the role of Public Relations Officer, Dr. MacDonald Thomas as International Secretary, and the Trustees are Norris Prevost, Jno-Finn, and Vincent Dupuis.
