Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has shared an optimistic outlook for Dominica as the nation prepares to welcome 2026. In his Christmas and New Year address, the Prime Minister highlighted continued investments, further reforms, and a renewed focus on improving the quality of life for all Dominicans. He acknowledged that challenges lie ahead but stressed that the country will face them together, united, and resilient. Skerrit also reiterated the Government’s commitment to youth development, creating opportunities through education, skills training, entrepreneurship, and meaningful employment. The Prime Minister called on Dominicans to enter the New Year with renewed faith in themselves and the nation, strengthen community bonds, and build a Dominica that leaves no one behind. He extended his warm Christmas and New Year greetings to all citizens, at home and abroad, wishing them health, hope, prosperity, and God’s blessings.
