The Dominica Freedom Party is mourning the passing of Mr. Julius Timothy, describing him as a devoted public servant who made lasting contributions to national development. Mr. Timothy, who passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, was the Managing Director of AC Shillingford and Company Limited and served as Parliamentary Representative for Roseau North from 1995 to 2014. He held ministerial positions in both the United Workers Party and later the Dominica Labour Party administrations. A respected businessman and community leader, Mr. Timothy also served as President of the Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce and was active in the Credit Union Movement. He was known as an avid sportsman who contributed greatly to the development of sports in Dominica. The Dominica Freedom Party has extended condolences to his family, friends, the staff of ACS, and the people of Roseau North.
