The Ministry of National Security has announced that the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force will soon receive ten new vehicles as part of government’s continued efforts to combat gun violence and improve public safety. Minister for National Security Rayburn Blackmoore announced the acquisition during a recent press briefing, noting that the vehicles are expected to arrive by October 9th, following approval from the Prime Minister. However, Minister Blackmoore also emphasized that with new resources comes greater responsibility. The initiative aims to equip officers with better mobility while promoting fiscal responsibility, ensuring resources directly support operations like the ongoing “Clean Sweep” against illegal firearms.
