The week opens with prayer and thanksgiving services across churches, followed by a live radio talk show today. Teachers across the island will enjoy regional karaoke nights on Wednesday and Thursday, with October 2 observed as Teachers Appreciation Day, when the public is encouraged to show gratitude to educators.
