Business and Professional Women Dominica has reaffirmed its commitment to national resilience and sustainable development at the Dominica Private Sector Resilience Alignment Forum. Addressing the forum, BPW Dominica President Rhoda St. John highlighted the importance of women’s leadership, private sector involvement, and civil society collaboration in strengthening Dominica’s climate-resilient recovery. She noted that true resilience goes beyond infrastructure and requires inclusive leadership, empowered communities, and strong partnerships. President St. John explained that BPW Dominica aligns its programmes with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly gender equality and partnerships for development, while supporting initiatives in climate action, youth development, and community empowerment. BPW Dominica says it remains ready to work alongside government, private sector stakeholders, and development partners to advance a coordinated and inclusive national resilience agenda.
