The Dominican Association of Teachers (DAT) wrapped up its 2025 Summer Institute with a closing ceremony celebrating two weeks of professional development for local educators. Held under the theme “Equipping Educators to Lead, Innovate and Inspire: Advancing Inclusive and Sustainable Education in Dominica,” the institute focused on fostering an education system rooted in equity, innovation, and sustainability.
Chief Education Officer Dr. Jeffrey Blaize,
emphasized the importance of continuous professional development, curriculum reform, and inclusive education to meet the needs of all learners.
Dr. Blaize believes that all students should be given the environment at which they can succeed.
