Environment and Kalinago Upliftment Minister, Cozier Frederick, has called on Dominicans to move from science to action in the fight against ozone depletion and climate change. Speaking at a ceremony to mark International Ozone Day on Tuesday, the Minister said that while Dominica has a small carbon footprint, the island remains on the frontline of climate impacts, pointing to the devastation of Hurricane Maria as clear evidence. He stressed that every household, business, and government department must play its part in protecting the environment.
