Dominica is actively participating in a regional effort to uphold democracy in the Caribbean. Chief Elections Officer, Ms. Anthea Joseph, will join a ten-member CARICOM Election Observation Mission to monitor the General Elections in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on 27 November 2025. The mission allows Dominica to engage with regional experts, share best practices, and learn from the electoral processes of its Caribbean neighbors. Ms. Joseph said the experience will help strengthen transparency and accountability in Dominica’s own elections. The delegation will meet with stakeholders in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, reflecting a collective commitment across the Caribbean to enhance democratic integrity and regional stability.
