In sports, The Dominica Men’s Senior National Football Team made its debut in the CONCACAF Series this week in St. Kitts. The tournament offers match opportunities for countries already eliminated from the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Dominica has been drawn in Group B alongside Belize, St. Martin, Sint Maarten, and host nation St. Kitts. The team faced St. Martin on Wednesday, November 12 where they lost in a 2-1 final score, the gents will face Sint Maarten on Saturday, November 15. A 23-man squad has been named for the competition, featuring four newcomers and five overseas-based players. The team will be led by Head Coach Ellington Sabin and supported by Assistant Coach Delroy Watt, Team Manager Kelvin Benjamin, and other staff members. The selected players include goalkeepers Jerome Burkard, Donte Newton, and Jaheem Cuffy; defenders Eustace Marshall, Jaylan Jnoville, Marcus Bredas, Ethan Nichols, Nick Anthony, Lyan Edwards, Mosiah Bonney, and Durelle Durand; midfielders Savio Anselm, Nathan Newton, Jervanie Xavier, Briel Thomas, Malachai Bonney, and Gylles Mitchel; and forwards Audel Laville, Travist Joseph, Javid George, Donte Warrington, Antawn Larocque, and Troy Jules.
