Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has announced that Dominicans can expect a new national minimum wage to take effect on December 1st, 2025 — just in time for Christmas. The announcement came during his address at the island’s 47th Independence celebrations. The Prime Minister said the decision follows a report from the Minimum Wage Advisory Committee, which has been reviewed by Cabinet.
