Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has expressed deep solidarity with the people of Jamaica, Cuba, and Haiti following the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa. Speaking during his address at the nation’s 47th Independence celebrations, the Prime Minister announced that the Government of Dominica has set up a hotline for Dominican students in Jamaica and Cuba to report challenges or seek assistance, and pledged that Dominica will provide tangible support to the recovery efforts in the coming days and weeks.
