October is being observed as Blindness Awareness Month, and the Dominica Association of Persons with Disabilities (DAPD) is joining the global call to protect and prioritize eye health. World Sight Day will be celebrated this Thursday, October 9, under the theme “Love Your Eyes.” The campaign encourages everyone to schedule regular eye examinations, support accessible and affordable eye care, and promote inclusion for persons living with visual impairments.
