The Ministry of Education is taking steps to form a National Parent Teachers Association (NPTA) as part of the country’s ongoing education reform efforts. Education Minister Octavia Alfred says the move follows Dominica’s participation in the 2025 Symposium on Policy Dialogue on Transforming Education, held in Barbados under the theme “Stronger Together: Empowering Parents as Partners in Caribbean Education.”
