Dominica will join Barbados, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Belize in launching the full free movement of CARICOM nationals today October 1st. Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit announced the historic step at a press conference on Monday, saying citizens of the four countries will be able to live, work, and remain indefinitely without the need for permits. The Prime Minister went on to express his hope that other CARICOM member states will join this movement in the future to create a fully integrated Caribbean.
